"Eastern Orthodox Perspectives on Nostra Aetate and Muslim-Christian relations".

Description

Join us for the next in the Faculty Research Seminar Series! This week, Nikodemos-Nikolaos Anagnostopoulos will discuss "Eastern Orthodox Perspectives on Nostra Aetate and Muslim-Christian relations".
About Nikodemos-Nikolaos Anagnostopoulos's research seminar
In the light of the ongoing development of the relations and the cooperation between the Roman Catholic and the Orthodox Churches through the initiatives of the primates of the two Churches, Pope Francis and the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, this research seminar analyses the Ecumenical significance of the Second Vatican Council under an Orthodox perspective with special reference on Nostra Aetate Declaration.
This is a fortnightly opportunity for our faculty members to present research they are undertaking, welcoming questions and challenges from a multidisciplinary audience.
No specialist knowledge is assumed – a wide variety of subjects will be presented in a manner that it is accessible to all. Whatever your experience, your contributions will be appreciated greatly.
